A Three-level education system that corresponds to organisational hierarchy
The management qualification or expertise is a supplementary theoretical and practical range of knowledge that completes an existing professional knowledge. In accordance with this all management qualifications' basis is the expertise in "own" profession. Nevertheless it is important to make it clear: the character of this "basic profession" alters depending on managerial duties and/or position held in organisation. While on the lowest, operative level the main managerial duties are mainly the actual control of operative tasks, on higher managerial levels this professional knowledge rather shifts towards general managerial knowledge, planning, and direction. Managerial qualification should reflect employers' demand that is actually an improvement in organisational performance through the improvement of individual managerial performance.
Principals of education:
- The managerial education provides the adequate basis, knowledge for fulfilling a managerial task, position;
- It is a multilevel support and thus reflects the individual's organisational career;
- During the education it is important to find a reasonable balance between theory and practice in a way that the education should be focused on practice;
- Education should be organised in a way that it does not tear students away from their working environment for the period of course.
Experience of international management studies shows that generally expected, unified professional knowledge that is essentially important for fulfilling a certain managerial position successfully can unambiguously be defined by managerial levels.
Taking this fact and the demands of the market into consideration we have shaped the three-level education system that follows the organisational structure. This provides the possibility to all students to gain knowledge and qualification that corresponds to their role in the organisational hierarchy and the functional area they work in. Our three-level education system - with modules that can be studied separately and that are built on each other -worked out by these principles satisfies the needs formulated by national and international standards on the highest level.
The figure above shows the required knowledge and qualification level of managers on different levels of an organisation that works effectively.
For managers on middle level the course materials of intermediate general managerial education will provide the sufficient knowledge for fulfilling their tasks, while on higher levels managers should obtain both intermediate and higher level managerial education as being essential for their position.
Finally for top managers responsible for strategic decisions, MBA knowledge is absolutely indispensable.
This comprehensive education system structured by managerial levels that is continuously tested by more that 30,000 students in 18 countries, provides the feeling of success for students being part of the program due to the entire harmonic agreement of skills and possibilities.
There are certain fields in thorough grounding in management that need continuous attention and development. These are mainly skills that can be developed by training. For this we supplement our managerial education with a wide range of trainings designed for managers.
